Gareth Bailey is a PGA professional with more than 20 years’ teaching experience who has actively promoted the importance of developing golf from the grass roots.
He teaches at numerous local schools, enabling children to have the opportunity to try golf and to decide if they would like to pursue the sport.
Gareth has designed a well-structured, fun and competitive programme to encourage children into golf. On completion of each section, his pupils are awarded certificates of achievement, the final goal being to progress into golf club membership at a realistic cost.
The course enables his pupils to achieve a standard that will enable them to play on the golf course, secure a handicap, enter junior competitions and pursue the many other opportunities that the sport can offer by playing against other golf clubs and gaining representative honours.
These junior group lessons are held every Saturday and Sunday at 10am and on Thursdays from 5pm. For further information or to book a place, please contact Gareth at
