Wanda Morgan wins the Kent Ladies’ Championship

In 1937 for the first time in the history of the Kent Ladies’ Championship, Canterbury was chosen as the venue.  

Principal interest lay in the entry of Miss Wanda Morgan, holder of the title for the previous two years and former winner of the English Open Championship and the English Closed Championship. 

Miss Morgan won 9 and 7 in the first round, 5 and 4 in the second, 3 and 1 in the third, 6 and 5 in the semi final and 7 and 6 in the final.
